The Lollipop is healing item in Rule of Rose. A sugary confectionary attached to a paper stick, Lollipops became commonplace around the early 20th century and more so during the events of the game.

Background

The Lollipops that Jennifer would find in the Airship and the Orphanage appear to be the classic puck-shaped design as opposed to more recent ball-shaped ones that would later become ubiquitous later in the 20th century. These puck-shaped Lollipops tended to be particularly large and were packed with lots of sugar. They are meant to be consumed by licking or sucking on them until all that is left is just the tip of the paper stick the confectionary was attached to.

Characteristics

The Lollipop is one of the best healing items that the player should have in their Inventory to replace the Biscuits and Candies from "Sir Peter" onward. They are superior to the Scone and the Minced Pie in terms of their healing potency and are slightly better than the Shortbread. However, the Lollipop is far from being the best of the best insofar as the Chocolate does far more healing, whereas the White Chocolate completely heals Jennifer. Another drawback associated with Lollipops is that they cannot be obtained by bartering with the Gift Box and must be acquired by exploring the environment during the Airship or Orphanage chapters. The player should consider keeping one with them at all times, preserving their Chocolates and White Chocolates until they actually need them.

Infinite Healing Items Exploit

During "The Funeral" chapter at night, in a hallway on the first floor connected to the main lobby, two Imps can be found. Kill them and pick up the shiny items (Lollipop and Shortbread), and leave the hallway. Then re-enter the hallway and repeat the process. This will make the rest of "The Funeral" and the final boss in "Stray Dog and the Lying Princess" easier.
